Circle C Whole-House Renovation

OVERVIEW

This Circle C Whole – House Renovation started as a smaller project. However, like many projects, it quickly escalated as our client wanted to personalize more rooms. Initially, the plan involved remodeling the kitchen and living area.

Our client wanted his custom kitchen design to complement the living area but still wanted each space to be well – defined in his open – room floor plan.

However, this project quickly evolved into a whole – house renovation once we decided to upgrade the hall bathroom and master bathroom as well.

158+ Five-Star Reviews

  • 172. Bob Burns – North Austin"Inspections were a breeze and the project was completed on time."

About two years ago we finally decided to remodel the kitchen and wet bar in our 1985 home. My sister recommended Roy because she had used them a few years prior and had been very happy with them--design, buildout, materials and standing behind their work. They helped us design the new kitchen, then helped with selection of marble countertops, flooring, cabinet materials, appliances and lighting. Because of a good reputation with the City, our permitting sailed through, inspections were a breeze and the project was completed on time, even with our change orders, just before Covid hit. Since then, Roy and his subs have been responsive in coming out for minor additional work we have requested. Good people and good work. Highly recommended.

  • 171. Erik Day – Westlake"The final product was nothing short of GORGEOUS."

There simply aren't enough positive words I can put in this review to talk about the experience my husband and I have had with New Creations. There is NO DOUBT in my mind they are best renovation, remodeling and contracting company in the Austin Area. Because of a previous bad experience with a remodeling company, we were very weary when we went in. We got a personal visit from Roy (the president of the company) first, along with their in house designer, Erin. From the first moments, we could tell they were both the best in their fields. We talked everything from time line to expectations on costs and how important it is to them to have most everything they do be included in their own personal team. We explained to them how important quality was and our expectations on getting our value out of the cost. They were very clear that was the business they were in. When we decided to give them our business, everything was so well scheduled and we were given a total white glove treatment. Erin is an amazing designer. She comes with options, ideas and opinions without making you feel you weren't the ones in charge. She is kind, patient and professional. At the start of the process you will spend a lot of time with Erin and I have to say, it was worth every minute. The renovation process and the initial build process went so fast. We were able to get through most of the initial steps done early which made every one on the team feel like we were ahead of schedule which doesn't happen a lot in renovations. Our project manager Oscar was also top notch. He was always available. Never missed a beat and answered everyone of our phone calls and always called back if not available. Like in every remodel, you will run into obstacles, some big and some small. When this happened to us, Roy and the team would immediately call a meeting or a lunch and we would discuss everything and reset expectation on schedules. They would always listen and understand if we ever got frustrated. It ultimately finished in the timeframe they originally quoted with the exception of some appliances that went on backorder during our build - this WILL happen and they were always helping us move things along. The final product was nothing short of GORGEOUS. We sit in our new kitchen, with our new floors, new windows, new laundry room and half bath and we couldn't be happier. New Creations has become our friends and we look forward to continuing our friendship and I would recommend them over anyone to anyone. They completely turned our first bad experience of remodeling into a great one. They even went out of their way to suggest some improvements to our other remodel and took time to help fix them for us. One last thing, in all transparency, they aren't the cheapest. And they tell you that from the start. Quality is incredibly important to them because these remodels should last. It is worth the investment. Completely. Roy, Erin, Oscar, Apollo and the entire team are simply the best. HIRE THEM. We couldn't be happier.

  • 170. Glen Lochte – Liberty Hill"They are dependable, trustworthy, and the best at their profession."

The New Creations Team did it again! We recently completed Part 2 of our home re-do. These renovation experts pay attention to EVERY detail! Listening to home owners’ visions on aesthetics and desire for functionality is their specialty. They make it happen! They are dependable, trustworthy, and the best at their profession. Thank you, Roy and Team, for helping us create a home we can enjoy forever!

  • 169. Lance Johnson – Brushy Creek"Thank you for transforming our kitchen!”

I recently had the pleasure of working with Roy and his team for our kitchen remodel, and I couldn't be happier with the results. From the initial consultation to the final walk-through, their professionalism, attention to detail, and craftsmanship were evident. The team was punctual, respectful of my home, and kept me informed throughout the process. And most importantly, the final product is stunning! I highly recommend them to anyone considering a home renovation. Thank you for transforming our kitchen!

  • 168. Frances Champagne – Rosedale"The quality of work is at a very high standard."

New Creations transformed our bathroom into a space that we will enjoy in the years to come. The design process was terrific and the materials selected are beautiful. The quality of work is at a very high standard and throughout the remodel, we had great communication with everyone involved. We highly recommend New Creations!

  • 167. Lou Dove Wirht – Sierra Arbor Estates“We smile every time we are in our new space.”

We love our new bathroom! Our project included some changes to our old floor plan and lots of updating. From the beginning, we felt comfortable with the whole process as presented by Roy. He communicated very clearly and told us exactly what we needed to know. We loved meeting and getting to know Oscar, Erin, Erika and all the other team members during the project. Erika got the ball rolling by collecting important, initial information. Erin was a great help in making design decisions; she was always there when we needed her. As project manager, Oscar orchestrated all the details with products and people to get the job done right. We appreciate all the fine 'artists' and their talents for cabinetry, tile, flooring, plumbing, shower glass, paint~
We thank you all very much and smile every time we are in our new space!

  • 166. Pinchu Chen – Canyon Creek"We would love to work with them again."

A wont stop attitude combined with knowledge and structure contributed to the success of our remodel. Our kitchen and master bath are amazing and we would love to work with them again.

  • 165. Leanne Logan – Onion Creek"Look no further than New Creations."

Once again a fantastic project completed by the New Creations team! We used New Creations 5 years ago for an extensive house remodel. New Creations recently completed a pantry remodel for us and we love it!
When looking for a home remodeling team, look no further than New Creations.

  • 164. K Manson – Jollyville"They did an excellent job. "

We hired New Creations to remodel our kitchen, cabinets in our bathrooms and built in cabinets in our dining room! They did an excellent job. Oscar was incredible. He is a perfections and the guys working with them were great as well. They assisted in helping me pick out the back splash, counter tops, and the new cabinets. They were timely, professional, and really did an outstanding job cleaning up their work area at the end of the day. I highly recommend New Creations.

  • 163. Travis Sparkman – Tanglewood Estates“Whether it’s a home or office remodel, I would hold a nail for this team without flinching."

My wife and I have been designing our remodel with Roy and his team for a year now. Before we even bought the house, he came out with us and walked through it with us so we could show our idea of moving the kitchen into the sunroom and removing the wall that separates the sunroom from the from the house proper. Roy brought in his whole crew to check feasibility. Long story short we bought it and will have the showroom kitchen I have always wanted. But that isn't why I am leaving this review. In the middle of remodel planning, I needed to change offices and my office had 3k of sqft that need a major update. I was overloaded moving brokers and bringing clients over. I told Roy that I was giving him full reign and to only bring me in if something major needs my approval. He was able to get this project squeezed in and even the property manager of the office was impressed with the quality and detail of the work. Everything came out perfect and faster than I thought was even possible. Whether its a home or office remodel, I would hold a nail for this team without flinching!

  • 162. Rebecca Walters – Pflugerville"The result is so beautiful I cannot adequately describe it."

It is my honor to be able to write this review for the New Creations Team. It has been a solid year since we first contacted Roy to talk about the vision for our home. Our project was finished in March, and I am amazed every day when I walk through each room. It’s beautiful. I’ve read many of the 5-Star reviews on the website and agree with all of them. The team is professional, organized, and detail oriented. They have an eye for design, focus on cleanliness and are consummate professionals. This is all true and important. In my review, I want to tell you the top 4 things that I appreciated about the team that you may not see in other reviews. These are things that were important to me through what was a yearlong process.

They were kind to my dogs. I teleworked during most of the renovations. My dogs are used to having free range of the house. Because of the full scope of the renovation, the dogs were semi-sequestered. When I needed to take them out for breaks, whichever tradespeople were working often stopped to pet them. Oscar, our project manager, became Penny’s new favorite person. He always asked how they were doing and when Blue was ill and had surgery, he was genuinely concerned about him. Every night, Oscar ensured the renovation area was clen, clean, clean. Not just because of us, but because he didn’t want the dogs to step on anything, eat anything or get hurt in any way. He always ensured I had a clear path to take them outside. As we finished the project, he even put their new dog crates together for me without me even asking.
They respected my authority and decision making and I respect theirs. Even though my husband and I work as a team, I was the one home each day. When decisions needed to be made, they deferred to me, which was our arrangement at the outset. Oscar and I became a cohesive team, handling almost every issue that came up quickly and efficiently. This allowed us to move quickly through things that could have delayed or derailed the process. We did have a few issues that rose to the level of needing to involve Roy and my husband, but those were few and far between. When New Creations says they value communication, they mean it. Oscar and I texted or talked almost every day, even on weekends.

They came to the furniture store to help pick out the color for our new stools and sofa. This project wasn’t just about knocking down a wall and changing cabinet colors, it was about making the downstairs of our home transformed into a new style and “vibe.” I think Roy was almost as excited by this as we were. We found a piece of artwork that was inspirational and designed around it. This gave a framework for other design-related decisions. The result is so beautiful I cannot adequately describe it. The pictures won’t do it justice because you won’t see the lights that change color or how floor was improved from me hating it to me loving it with just a little color change on the walls and grout. All the small choices led to the final results, and the New Creations team was fully invested in each small choice.
They treated us like human beings and not just customers. A year is a long time to be involved with other people. Some days I was in a great mood and thrilled with the progress of the project and other times I was cranky and aggravated because someone was supposed to be here and was 30 minutes late or called in sick. Oscar got to experience me in all these moods and was always respectful and did his best to get things back on track if they were getting derailed. Ericka was a peace-maker who always had the details written down so if there was a dispute about something, she could reference the facts. The team would periodically gather at the house to look at the progress and celebrate the milestones. Those times were fun. We went through good times and bad times as everyone does during the course of a year. Roy sent a birthday cake for my husband’s birthday and flowers upon my mother’s death. It was a long year, but well worth it.

    Cheers to the NC team!

  • 161. Sarah Loconto – North Austin"Years later, our kitchen is still in good shape."

New Creations helped us with a kitchen remodel years ago. They took our out-dated kitchen and gave it a major "facelift". Working with them was easy and always straightforward. Roy was very helpful and always followed up timely on any items. He's still easy to reach and helpful today, though our project was completed 14 years ago. Our project was completed on-time, within budget and turned out beautifully. Years later, our kitchen is still in good shape. I would definitely recommend working with New Creations!

  • 160. Khaleah Myers – Westlake"The New Creations team made the experience smooth, reassuring and fun."

I recently had my kitchen and bathroom remodeled and I am very pleased. From start to finish, the New Creations team was a pleasure to work with. Communication was excellent throughout the entire process - I always felt informed about next steps. If at anytime I was unsure of what was happening next, a simple text, phone call or email in a timely fashion would clear it up.
The team was highly skilled and very friendly. My young girls enjoyed having interactions with "the builders" left on the white board when we would come for site visits. Usually with fun interview questions like favorite colors, foods or vacations. This friendly and approachable manner made the whole experience smooth and relatively stress-free. The entire team was always open to my ideas, welcomed my input and actually incorporated all of my ideas.

What impressed me most was their clear goal of success - getting things done the right way, even if it meant redoing something more than once. There was never a sense of cutting corners or rushing to finish; instead their commitment was always achieving the right result. That dedication was definitely reflected in the final result.
Anoher thing that stood out was Roy's commitment to keeping the project moving forward. Even when unexpected factors came up that were out of their control, I could see the effort being made to stay on schedule and respect the agreed timeline.

While remodels can often be stressful, the New Creations team made the experience smooth, reassuring and fun. I highly recommend them for anyone who wants not just beautiful results, but a contractor who truly cares about respecting their clients' vision and time.

  • 159. Mari Greene – Northwest Hills Ranch"The whole team is made up of the most wonderful people."

I have used New Creations for three bathroom remodels. This review is specifically about the most recent renovation. It was for a small 3/4 bathroom. Roy and Erika went above and beyond to design the space and source the perfect yellow tile! This bathroom is used by my oldest child whose favorite color is yellow. Oscar is the project manager and made sure that everything was done perfectly. The whole team is made up of the most wonderful people. In fact I’m so happy with them that we’re in the midst of our fourth project together: a kitchen renovation along with the rest of the house!

  • 158. Shannon Langham – North Austin"Experience and outstanding communication skills are beyond impressive."

Roy and his entire New Creations Team are absolutely the best. Langham Group has had the pleasure of working with Roy on various projects and his knowledge, experience and outstanding communication skills are beyond impressive. It is always an honor and an exceptional experience anytime we have the opportunity to work with Roy and New Creations.

  • 157. Bob Curcio – Downtown Austin Condo"We're so grateful to have worked with such skilled, timely, committed, caring, and professional craftsmen"

Thanks to the great team at New Creations for a remodeling of our condo kitchen. They demo'd, drafted, designed, fabricated, and installed what is now a "home style" kitchen in our condo. What they delivered was exactly what we'd envisioned. Not a single detail was left unattended. We're so grateful to have worked with such skilled, timely, committed, caring, and professional craftsmen, who delivered on the product and the quality that they'd committed to.

  • 156. Lindy R. Project #3 – Jollyville"You really feel taken care of on the New Creations Team"

This review marks our third successful engagement with Roy and the New Creations team. The first was a stunning remodel of a galley into an open, airy European-style kitchen with wide open shelves featuring floating cabinets with attractive under-cabinet lighting. Our second was a remodel of a beige and forest green lavatory with peeling-linoleum-filled bathroom into a crisp, airy bathroom featuring hexagonal tiles that popped with dark grout and thoughtfully reworked pluming with chrome fixtures.

Our most recent engagement was a large project in our newly purchased home. It involved new floors, resurfaced ceilings, wall to wall paint, and a completely resurrected kitchen space. I've always admired how clean and unimposing Roy's team can be while knocking down walls and tearing out wires and pipes. You really feel taken care of on the New Creations team--they have a gift for taking your vision in the form of magazine clippings, your favorite photos on Houzz, and vague descriptions (think, "modern but traditional," "light and open but private," etc. I think I would have slapped myself if I were them) and turning them into coherent, thoughtful design.

We are in love with our new home and that is largely attributable to Roy and his team. I appreciate the consistency with which they deliver beautiful results. Most importantly, we have never felt Roy's attention waver due to the size of our jobs. From the little bathroom remodel to the full home excursion, he has made sure we are taken care of. Cheers to the New Creation team!

  • 155. John B. Project #2- The Park at Spicewood"A big thanks to Roy and Apollo, and the rest of the team for another home run project!"

We worked with New Creations to do a complete master bathroom remodel and a refresh of a jack and jill bathroom. Both bathrooms turned out amazing, both in terms of looks and functionality. This is our second time working with New Creations (previously we did a complete kitchen remodel) and once again Roy and his team really took care of us from beginning to end.

All aspects of the work - from design to project management to construction were handled extremely professionally and with great attention to detail. The project came in ahead of schedule and on budget.

A big thanks to Roy and Apollo, and the rest of the team for another home run project! We look forward to our next project with you all!

  • 154. Betsy H. Project #2 – Cat Mountain"excelled in delivering outstanding results"

Roy Faust and his team at New Creations have excelled in delivering outstanding results in quality, project management, and customer satisfaction through three significant home renovation projects. I am a very particular and detail oriented customer who has approached each project with a definite and unique vision that represents my home and me. Roy and the team respected my input and helped refine the project to make my vision a reality. I feel fortunate to have found New Creations for my renovations: they employ a great team of subcontractors, suppliers, artisans, and specialists (including furniture builders and suppliers who deal with out of the ordinary materials and finishes), which, along with a combination of design and technical knowledge, ensures that my vision can be brought to life.

Roy and the team treated me as a participant in the projects; they listened to my concerns and included me in all aspects of the planning. I felt that they approached my renovations as partners, not just as doing a job; they were as invested in a successful outcome as I was. In any renovation project unforeseen issues occur. When problems did arise Roy and the team provided creative solutions, drawing on their design and technical expertise to maintain the integrity of the project. In lesser hands, the design quality would have been compromised.

New Creations manages projects effectively, maximizing the use of materials, time, and labor to ensure the minimum level of disruption possible during a large renovation. They stand behind their work, are reliable, professional, and honest. I highly value the true team performance from the New Creations crew with respect to coordination, expertise, and process. I am in the process of designing future projects and can’t imagine trusting anyone else to deliver the unique designs, reflecting who I am, other than Roy and the New Creations team. Would I recommend New Creations? Yes, with no reservations!

  • 153. Deidre H. Project #2 – Great Hills"This in an honest company who does high quality work"

New Creations performed a kitchen remodel for me.

Hiring New Creations was a great experience for me. From the design all the way through the project completion, they are focused on customer service.

I was extremely happy with the results of each of my remodels.

This is an honest company that does high-quality work. Communication was good, the workmanship was wonderful, and everyone I interacted with was very friendly.

    I strongly recommend New Creations.
