We began by transforming the layout and material palette to emphasize openness and calm. Every surface was chosen for how it feels as much as how it looks — sleek, soothing, and indulgent without ever feeling excessive.

For relaxation, the freestanding tub sits beneath a recessed niche with accent lighting — a quiet architectural moment that draws the eye and invites you to unwind. The Kohler Veil Intelligent toilet, with its LCD remote and built-in features, adds a discreet layer of comfort and convenience. A Kohler tub filler with handshower completes the setup with sculptural precision.
Finishing touches include Moderne Brass hardware, an ICO Tuzio towel warmer, and built-in LED mirrors that frame the space in soft, flattering light — the kind of details that make the entire room feel curated and intentional.
Tile was the foundation for this design. The floors and shower pan feature ProSource Black Absolute Slate, grounding the room in depth and contrast. On the walls, Mayfair Volakas tile in a soft marble pattern creates a serene backdrop — sophisticated, light, and timeless. The vanity countertop in Daltile Morning Frost quartz ties it all together, offering durability and a bright, clean finish that never competes with the architecture around it.
Brushed gold accents warm the palette and tie the whole space together — framing the shower niche, outlining the mirrors, and accenting the hardware in a way that feels cohesive and elevated.
This bathroom strikes the perfect balance between high-end modern and serene retreat. Every element — from the hidden drain lines to the digital shower system — was chosen for both performance and design integrity. The room feels effortless, but it’s built on precision and purpose.
“Roy and his team not only designed and built us a beautiful kitchen, but remodeled our entire bottom floor to include two living rooms, breakfast nook, and small bathroom.
