We had the opportunity to work with a very nice couple for the second time to complete a remodel of their home. The couple is approaching retirement and wanted to create their dream home. For this remodel project, we worked on their master bathroom, hall bathroom, stairway, and office. Now, we have remodeled their entire home.
You will be amazed at the stunning oasis we created in both bathrooms as well as the intricate design of their stairway and the functionality of the office. These projects exceeded the client’s expectations, all while staying within their budget. With these renovations behind them, the couple can sit back and enjoy their retirement in a home they love.

Total Remodel: Master Bathroom, Hall Bathroom, Stairway, and Office
Contemporary
To help the family find tranquility in their master bathroom, we used a contemporary, soothing design. The white ceramic tile walls (Stone Solutions Flow Series) afford a clean and crisp space with accents that comfort anyone using the bathroom. The wooden cabinetry and floating shelves coupled with the blue glass mosaic deco tile (Stone Solutions Oceania Series), reminiscent of water, help reduce stress by delivering a calming effect. The black bronze hardware throughout the bathroom provides a stylish accent to the design of the room for a modern appearance.
It would be nearly impossible for the couple not to feel zen while soaking in their new Jetta acrylic oval tub while enjoying the built-in fireplace insert set inside the peaceful blue mosaic tile. With the intricate espresso chandelier above, they can relax taking in the beauty of this artistic piece.
Functionality was of major importance for the bathroom. The custom wooden cabinetry affords plenty of storage space for all of their bath necessities. The cabinetry even features a hidden electrical outlet to plug in and store hair tools without having to manage cords. The walk-in shower features ample space as well as a bench (Countertop Material) that will come in very handy as the family grows old together in their home.
The hall bathroom borrows the calming design elements of the master bathroom while providing its own personality. With a similar color scheme to the blue mosaic deco tile, the hall bathroom features a herringbone mosaic in a cobalt blue color pattern. Present only in the walk-in shower, the mosaic is the inspiration for the color style of the bathroom.
The custom cabinetry that offers a great deal of storage for such a small space is in an accented blue color that lends itself well to the shower mosaic for a seamless blend (Paint grade 2-1/2″ Shaker). Golden champagne and champagne bronze fixtures in the hardware (Amerock) throughout the bathroom offer a lovely accent to the space and pair beautifully with the wooden floating shelves.
A stunning custom cabinetry built-in (Stain Grade 2-1/2″ Shaker) was designed in alder wood to provide the family with space for important documents, thrilling stories, and knickknacks to help bring personality into the space. With new wood flooring and a fresh coat of bright paint, this room is prime for performing any necessary tasks with ease.
As an accent area for the transition from upstairs to downstairs, the new stairs in the couple’s home are beautiful, functional, and safe. The modern handrail (HOF) and double bar hollow balusters have a sleek appearance. The stair treads were sanded and refinished to match the oak handrails while the risers were painted white to match the trim.
