A Timeless Kitchen and Luxe Blue Fireplace Transformation

Design Solution

We began by brightening the home’s core palette to create harmony with the existing floors. The walls and ceilings were finished in Sherwin-Williams Pure White, which reflected natural light beautifully and opened up the space.

For trim, doors, and cabinetry, we used Sherwin-Williams Extra White in a semi-gloss finish for subtle contrast and a polished look. The cabinetry itself was custom-built in a classic shaker style, providing clean lines and enduring character.

The Calacatta Divine quartz countertops from Arizona Tilebecame the visual centerpiece of the kitchen — a sophisticated stone look with soft, elegant veining that ties effortlessly into the warm undertones of the flooring. To complement this, we installed Atlas brushed nickel hardware, chosen for its understated luxury and timeless appeal.

Fireplace Transformation

While the kitchen sets a tone of refined simplicity, the fireplace introduces bold personality. The original fireplace was reimagined with a Dekton Kreta surround — a subtle, concrete-inspired surface that adds modern texture and visual strength.

We added a walnut mantelfor warmth and contrast, then wrapped the wall in custom wood paneling painted in Sherwin-Williams Luxe Blue.

Result

The finished design bridges the best of both worlds: clean, modern lines paired with warmth, character, and individuality. The neutral kitchen blends seamlessly into the home’s palette, while the Luxe Blue fireplace stands proudly as a sophisticated centerpiece that ties the open-concept space together.
