New Creations Kitchen Remodel – We recently embarked upon a project to give our kitchen a face-lift. After researching a full remodel and replacement of our perfectly good (but just ugly) kitchen cabinets, we stumbled across the New Creations website and found out about an alternative to replacement. Having been down the remodel road and found that complete replacement was not something that on which we wanted to spend too much money, we met with the New Creations crew to see what they had to offer. Their showroom featured many different styles of refaced cabinets complete with interchangeable countertop surfaces and backsplashes so we were able to get a very good sense of how our material selections would combine to create an overall look. This was extremely helpful to see and quite a contrast to having to guesstimate with tiny samples at many other providers.

Once we understood the re-facing process and the timeline, we were certain that this was a better path for us. It was very important that we establish and stick to an aggressive timeline which would ensure completion by the end of September. Roy and Troy were very helpful in scheduling our remodel project and ensuring that we had good transparency to the milestones and project tasks in the schedule along the way. Once we had our materials selected, the New Creations team sent us a detailed web-based project plan that outlined the entire schedule from start to finish. With both of us working and me travelling during that time, this was enormously helpful to us as we sought to plan our weeks. Once we got started with the project, we were very happy with the team’s diligence in sticking to the schedule and ensuring that tasks were completed on-time. Additionally, as we ran into the inevitable hiccup’s that come with home projects, we found that the New Creations team was extremely responsive and diligent in resolving things to our satisfaction. Everyone who was brought to the house to work was polite, honest and very good at their piece of the project. All in all, it took about 3 weeks to complete the project and we were able to access/use our kitchen for the majority of that timeframe. The results are great! The kitchen has a great new look that’s far more up-to-date. We replaced the countertops with granite, the white backsplash with a cool glass tile mosaic and the lighting throughout the kitchen. It’s like a brand new kitchen for a lot less than we were originally planning to spend. We’re thoroughly enjoying the new look of the kitchen and would highly recommend this process and the New Creations team to anyone embarking on a kitchen remodel.

Great Service, Great Attitude – We used New Creations (Roy and team) to re-design and re-do our kitchen and breakfast area - we love the new look and the quality of the workmanship.

The team did everything well but really excel in the following areas (much better than I have previously experienced):

1) Customer Service. Roy is a fanatic about giving the customer what they want. If something is not just so, Roy will take care of it.

2) Project Management & Great Execution. It is clear that they are on top of the game. They communicate well via phone, in person, and email; but more importantly they drive themselves and their team proactively. They completely my kitchen re-model (complete demolition down to the studs to new beautiful kitchen in 8 weeks and 2 days.)

3) Great design ideas. Roy and team gave us some really great ideas about how to re-layout our kitchen (really creative). They make great suggestions but know how to do this while still leaving you in control of making it “your kitchen”.

4) High quality team. In particular, Roy’s sub-contractors for cabinets, electrical, and his catch all (jack-of-all trade) guy were world class. This is one of the key’s to me of New Creations and Roy’s success…..having great sub-contractors and then have a good working relationship with them .

5) Issue handling & resolution. Most remodels (I have done a few construction projects) will have a few issues come up. Roy’ team is excellent at addressing any issues that arise. Again, the customer service attitude is a keystone to Roy and he pushes it across to his sub-contractors – you can tell.

Overall, I think I am a pretty tough customer (son of a carpenter) and someone who likes things done “right”. Roy and team do it “right”!

A very talented, courteous and professional team! – I loved everything about my new home except for the tiny, dark, unattractive bathrooms. I contacted New Creations based on recommendations from two of my neighbors, and I couldn't be happier with the results! This was my first experience with a remodel and I really didn't know what to expect. Roy's and his sub-contractors worked with me every step of the way. They encouraged me to play a big part in the design process, and this hands-on involvement was an exciting and fulfilling experience. They really made me feel like I was part of the team, all the while helping me make smart decisions based on their prior experiences. In the end, their expert advice proved invaluable. Virtually every decision we made turned out to be the right choice. Prior to the remodel, my master bathroom was a depressingly dismal place. Now it's a joy just to be in this room. We knocked out an unnecessary dividing wall and removed the outdated tub and fixtures, then installed custom cabinets, new floor tiles, expertly textured walls, a beautiful new countertop with a vessel sink and a gorgeous, modern glass walled shower. In our guest bathroom we added new cabinet and drawer faces, countertop with vessel sink and new floor tiles, and finished it off with retextured walls and fresh paint throughout. To top it off, we added solar tubes to both bathrooms, making them so much brighter and more inviting. I'm very proud of my remodeled guest bathroom, but my master bath is simply a joy! It's my own little oasis/spa. A big thanks to Roy and his team for all their hard work. I recommend them whole-heartedly!

Love My New Kitchen! – I love my kitchen! Roy and New Creations remodeled our kitchen last spring. Even though it has been several months, I still find myself just staring at it in awe.

Working with New Creations was such an easy process. I have heard countless horror stories about remodel nightmares, and this was nothing like that. Everyone was professional and pleasant to have in our home. Roy was wonderfully honest with us as we went through the design process and I always felt like he had our best interest in mind. I would recommend New Creations whole heatedly and am looking forward to working with them on our master bath someday soon.

Exceptional Quality & Delivery – New Creations (NC) provided a creative, high quality, and competitively priced kitchen remodeling job. NC is staffed with professionals with knowledge and skills to educate the customer and facilitate the decision-making process. Further, NC receives high marks for its communication efforts and mediums utilized to keep customers in the know at all times, especially in the final phase of the remodeling, specifically the challenging "punch list" . As it has been said "the devil is in the details which are monitored by management to completion.

Troy Hester should be applauded for not only representing the company well overall, but for his time and effort to keep the customer informed of plans for the week, inclusive of delays of materials and services. Troy exhibited true professionalism and strong communication skills throughout the entire multi-month experience. Roy Faust represented the company with enthusiasm, skill, and professionalism as well. Hats off to New Creations!

My New Kitchen is Awesome – We contracted with New Creations to completely redo our kitchen. We moved a wall and took out the old cabinets and installed incredibly beautiful new ones. It was like working with a blank slate and I guess it was since it was all white sheet rock.

Julia Laughlin, the designer that used to be with New Creations walked us through the entire process. She helped us find the tile and sea glass for the back splash, the beautiful green granite for the center island and overall held our hands and kept us from making design mistakes. She has an amazing eye and we thank here for the incredible design.

The electrical work done by Cox Electric was stellar and the plumbing done by Blue Dog Plumbing was equally as good. We also had a project manager, Joshua, who paid attention to every detail and was here everyday do make sure everything was done to specs. Troy works in the office and is basically the person who gets everything ordered and delivered and schedules the subs.He is amazingly thorough and organized and really is the glue behind the company.

I must say that I was most impressed by Greg Olsen of OG Cabinets. It is hard to believe that a flat CAD drawing can turn into something so beautiful. The cabinets are beyond my wildest expectation and Greg was a joy to work with.

The work was done and usable after about 8 weeks which is the time frame we were given. We had several items on the punch list which dragged on for a few more weeks, but weren't keeping us from moving things back in.

Even though redoing a kitchen is a huge undertaking, we enjoyed most every minute of the process because the subs and Joshua and Troy are such good people to work with.

If there is one negative, it is that the contract specifies certain items and it was very hard to know what those items were since we are not builders. Because of that, we had several change orders and extra charges that could have been avoided. On the other hand, Roy was very fair in letting us change the cabinets to the ones we got because we did not understand what the contract specified.

All in all I would certainly recommend New Creations and tell anyone I know to just come look at my kitchen as proof.

Easy to work with and willing to work hard – For our kitchen remodel, working with New Creations has been pretty much painless with a very friendly staff. Everyone we saw come through the house were extremely willing to work hard and had a good attitude.

Roy (owner) is going to blow you away with his vision and his enthusiasm. Troy (project manager) is quick to respond to your questions and keeps the schedule on track. We used an online project tool that they are trying to move to so we were a bit of a guinea pig in that regard. But for the detail oriented people like us, the tool was a fantastic resource as the project schedule fluctuates during the course of the project. The people on staff at NC are top-notch and know exactly what they are doing. They also seem to have good working relationships with other contractors for things not done in-house. This really helps when they are making changes to the schedule.

The entire gang at New Creations was completely willing to do everything possible to make sure we are happy. I probably nitpicked on issues I saw a little too much but they made sure everything was taken care of and done without hesitation. They were quick to respond and to schedule in fixes. Even after the project had completed, small items that I noticed that needed additional work on was fixed up quick.

This team is definitely dedicated to what they do and their goal of 100% customer satisfaction isn't just words they say. They absolutely believe in it.

Now, for the most important part of the project... our new kitchen is AWESOME!!

New Creations.. Professional in all areas.. they ROCK – I had gotten several bids from other contractors. Roy's bid was quick and professional. He had no problem with giving me an itemized and detailed bid, based on my budget I gave him. Several other contractors just gave an overall price and what they would do for that price. They would/could not give a breakdown. One kept trying to get me to do more than my budget would allow.

Everyone was courteous that I worked with..from employees to contractors. I appreciated someone from New Creations checking on the work, as it went along, from deconstruction to the finished room. My job was not one of their largest, I'm sure, but was a big deal for me.

I was excited to come home every day and see what had been done that day. Their craftsmen clean up after themselves as they go along.

Even though I kept the same applicances ..my kitchen ROCKS . I have had so many compliments. I would not hesitate to recommend this company, their employees and their contractors.

Professional and Attentive – Ours was the largest project undertaken by New Creations as of 1/10. We gutted our Master Bedroom, bath and closets, kitchen, laundry room, garage entry and Jack and Jill Bathroom. They were all being done at the same time! This could have been a scheduling nightmare, but Troy seemed to handle it in stride.

Julia was more than successful fitting in all that we wanted in the space we had. We could not be more pleased with the design. Our house feels completely new!

The entire crew, Roy, Julia, Troy, Joshua, Apollo and Juan were very easy to work with. Roy holds each person to a very high standard of professionalism. Even the demo guys were clean and pleasant.

We love our new kitchen! The design is perfect and the quality is very evident. Like most projects we had some hitches, but they were easily worked through.

I can say the entire process was so much less "painful" than I anticipated. I credit the team with their attention to detail, attention to what I was saying, and professional attitudes toward their work product. I can recommend New Creations.

Beautiful Craftsmanship – New Creations recently completed our extensive kitchen remodel. In addition to of the typical kitchen remodel tasks, the entire existing space was demolished, gas lines and electricity were moved. We had a couple of walls changed to accommodate our Laundry room and pantry design. The result is beautiful with a great sense of craftsmanship.

The first thing that comes to mind when thinking of our experience with New Creations is just how great everyone is to work with. Not only are they friendly and accommodating, never once was one of our requests met with eye rolling or hesitation. Just sure, we can do that.

The cabinet maker, Greg Olson, is great. A super nice guy who can build anything that can be laid out in CAD. We worked with him and New Creations’ designer Julia Laughlin extensively during the planning stages where we decided the location of everything, the silverware, spice rack, pantry, garbage bins, etc… We meticulously made these decisions, Greg would show us the official CAD drawings, we’d make changes, and eventually sign off on said Drawings. The day the cabinets came in and were set up was extremely exciting. We walked around opening all of the cabinet doors and drawers. Everything was identical to the CAD drawings.

No project is without it’s hiccups and we experienced a few along the way. Mostly due to our remodel taking place over the Christmas holiday and the fact that our initial Field Manager was let go, leaving a slightly disorganized period of time in the middle. Once the logistics of this were worked out, New Creations quickly regrouped and the project was back on track and finished off strong and to our liking. This did, however, cause us a bit of stress, but I believe that this was an isolated situation and that it is unlikely that their future customers will have any issues in this area.

Other people who we were extremely impressed with were: Apollo, who did all of the tile work and most of the random things that needed to be completed. Troy, who handled scheduling and organization. Julia, the designer as mentioned above. The electrician, whose name escapes me was very detailed. Of course Roy, the founder of New Creations who is very sincere and will not take anything less than his client’s complete satisfaction. The folks at Summit Stoneworks were also great. I’m sure I’m missing a few other people, but again all were wonderful.

I certainly would use New Creations again in the future.
